“ Went for the first time and it was amazing! I had the beef lumpia, pork adobo, and beef stew and all 3 we're top tier. My cousin loves the pancit. Great flavors and great customer service!!! Check it out!!! ”
“ Mary and her staff are amazing. The lumpia’s are out of this world. Did some work on the cooler and Mary hooked me up with some of their awesome food I’m so grateful! I will eat here every time I come to Jacksonville. Don’t miss this little gem on western blvd. ”
“ This place is hopping! The line never stopped and we fed our whole family for such an affordable price. Our kids were obsessed with the lumpia and honestly, it was so much food for the price. They are asking to come back soon. The waiter was very friendly and treated everyone like his long lost best friend :) It is refreshing to see that much kindness. ”
“ This place is a hidden gem! I have been looking for some good Filipino cuisine...I found it. My bro and I had lunch, and we tried several items, apps, calamari, lumping, spring rolls....lunch was..curry chicken, oxtail, and braised pork, all were spot on! The place was clean and the staff was a pleasure. The line seemed to never end, but as i said, the staff (2) never lost their smile.I highly recommend this place. ”
“ I’m coming from Sunny San Diego and I’ve enjoyed the two times I’ve gotten take away from here. I was shocked to have dinuguan in Jacksonville, NC, but there it is like a light shown upon a key item in a video game. So far, nothing at this place is a miss. I enjoy dipping my puto in all the sauce/broth of the wonderful variety of entrees they have available. A coworker of mine won’t stop raving about the Lechon Kawali, which I’ll have to get this Sunday, since Kare Kare is only available on Sundays! Gotta have it. Ordering any combo meal gives you a healthy heaping serving of rice which I very much enjoy. I haven’t ordered the solo entrees, so I’ll be able to explore that later. The staff is very kind, as all pinoy/pinay are, and will take the time to explain all the dishes available at the counter and on the menu. My only minor criticism is the atmosphere and Vietnamese food items that are out of place. The murals of the Philippines are charming and wonderful. But some things deter from the central theme of this eatery, just my opinion. Also having Vietnamese staples available is akin to Chinese restaurants having chicken nuggets and French fries. I believe the main Filipino cuisine stands strong on its own and these chefs don’t need to pander to any other crowd. I’m coming from San Diego, CA, where the Filipino town is abundant with restaurants, this place can compete with them. I understand if these dishes are there for variety or if there’s excess cuts, or perhaps there are Vietnamese chefs in the back, then you might as well make the Vietnamese dishes, but it just feels out of place. But I love this restaurant no matter what. I’ve shared my takeaway with my coworkers and they all love it. I definitely want to cater from this restaurant, which by the way, is an option! ”
“ I want to begin this review by mentioning a couple of things. This is my second time visiting this restaurant, and having been to the Philippines, I have experienced the cuisine and flavors firsthand. When I say this place comes the closest to authentic Filipino food, it might even be an understatement. I genuinely believe this restaurant is far better than many places I tried in the Philippines. The flavors, portion sizes, service—everything, and I mean everything, is amazing here. You have to RUN here, not just walk. We ordered the sisig (which arrived sizzling on a skillet with a generous side of rice), the pork adobo (incredibly tender and flavorful, making you want to eat it forever), the lechon (piping hot with a crunchy exterior and tender center, perfectly balancing fat and meat), spring rolls (large, with fantastic filling and an amazing peanut sauce), and the beef pho (which is indescribably good). Everything we had was outstanding, and the customer service was fantastic; they truly made us feel like family. I love this place and would recommend it to EVERYONE. I would rate it a perfect 10/10! ”
“ Food was catered for a retirement ceremony, and it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended catering for your next event. ”
“ i always come here! best place ever. i definitely recommend to try the pork adobo or chicken adobo and also the beef lumpia!! ”
